Gate Gourmet were very excited about the prospects - Punn again "We had a win / win situation -- the results spoke for themselves. Result Summary
"The assessment report was clear and factual -- we had payback in less than twelve months!" explained Punn. Savings continue thereafter, giving Gate Gourmet around £50,000 per annum. Darren Castles from Smartcool illustrated the benefits with some graphic visual representations -- "the savings in just one year represent 620,000 kW hours for Gate Gourmet! That equates to saving enough energy for over two hundred domestic homes in the UK -- or to understand the environmental impact, we save fifty four acres of trees every single year".
